Replace a Lost CSCS Card
If your card has gone missing, order a replacement straight away. Your old card will no longer be valid for site entry once the replacement is issued.
Replace a Stolen CSCS Card
If your card has been stolen, report it and order a replacement immediately. A replacement makes sure nobody else can use your old card on site.
Defaced or damaged CSCS Card
Cards that are cracked, faded or have unreadable details can be replaced. Site managers may refuse entry if your card cannot be scanned or verified.
Renew your CSCS Card instead
If your card expires in the next few months, renewing gives you a full five-year card. This is usually cheaper than replacing then renewing soon after.
How to replace your CSCS Card

Check your expiry date. Look at the front of your current card. If it expires within the next 3-4 months, choose renewal instead of replacement.

Complete the replacement form. Use our CSCS Card application form and select the replacement option. The form takes about two minutes.

Pay securely. Complete payment through our secure checkout. Your replacement fee is confirmed before you pay.

Receive your card. Your replacement CSCS Card usually arrives within 5-7 working days.
Should I replace or renew?
Replacing a card that is close to expiry wastes money because you will need to renew again soon. As a guide:
- More than 6 months left → order a replacement.
- Less than 6 months left → renew your CSCS Card.
- Already expired → you must renew, not replace.
